Graphi-Braid is braided from specially treated felxible graphite yarn. This flexible graphite yarn is made from exfoliated high purity crystalline mineral graphite (flake graphite.) It maintains all characteristics of mineral graphite: heat resistant, chemical resistant, resilient, lubricant, pliable, comformable, and thermal conductive. This braid is used as pump seal packing, furnace sealing, gaskets. valve packing, and wicks. We carry three types of graphite braid: Graphite, inconel reinforced (w or wire), and carbon fiber corner reinforcements (C or carbon fiber.)
